Dyslexia
What is dyslexia?
IDA has a great, long definition. I am going to simplify it a little. Dyslexia can come in different shapes and levels. When the brain is formed it is built differently than those that do not have dyslexia. Due to this structure - cognitive patterns are altered. For teachers, this means simply, regular or ordinary teaching will not be sufficient to teach these individuals. These are pattern people, they like to learn, but they want to know the 'why' of something, not that it just is. This page will be dedicated to that.
